Massage room at Nusa Massage Spa in the evening, with a laptop closed on a side table beside a lit candle

Remote worker rubbing a stiff neck while working on a laptop at a cafe table in Lisbon
Laptop damagewe know it well

The remote-work special

Your body keeps the receipts

Eight hours a day on a chair designed for lunch. A screen thirty centimetres below eye level. A "desk" that is sometimes a bed. Remote work is a dream - your trapezius disagrees.

Our therapists see laptop damage every week: locked shoulders, stiff necks, forearms tight from typing, a lower back in quiet protest. Deep tissue for the knots, therapeutic pressure where it counts, and honest advice about which one you actually need.

Tell us where it hurts. We listen first and press second. We also looked at what the science says about massage after work, including the myth almost every spa repeats.

Made for remote life

Built for the way you work

No phone calls required

Booking happens on WhatsApp. Send a message, get a time, done in minutes. No forms, no hold music, no Portuguese needed.

English, start to finish

From first hello to final stretch, the whole session works in English. Your "obrigado" on the way out is optional but appreciated.

Sundays and late evenings

Open until 21:30 every day, and from 11:00 on Sundays. Deadlines don't respect weekends; fortunately, neither do we.

Right by Saldanha metro

Av. Defensores de Chaves 15, a short walk from Saldanha station, in the middle of Lisbon's office and coworking district.

Your Airbnb works too

Working from a rental in Alfama or a flat in Graça? Our therapists travel to hotels and rentals anywhere in Lisbon.

Maintenance mode

Staying a while? Most desk-bound regulars settle into a rhythm of every three to four weeks. Your shoulders will tell you when.

Not sure what your back needs?

Describe the pain and how you work. Our therapists will recommend the right massage and the right duration before you book anything.

Ask for advice

Pick your fix

Every remote worker breaks differently

Deep tissue for knots with your job title on them. Thai if you haven't stretched since your last visa run. Relaxation for the weeks when the burnout is winning. Not sure? Ask - our therapists triage kindly.

Frequently asked questions

Before you close the laptop

Can I book same-day?

Usually, yes. WhatsApp us (+351 935 676 279) with a rough time and we confirm within minutes. Evenings fill up first, so message early if your day ends late.

Do I need to speak Portuguese?

No. Booking and the session itself both work in English. If your Portuguese is at the "dois cafes por favor" stage, that's more than enough.

How often should I come if I work at a laptop all day?

There's no prescription, but most desk-bound regulars land on every three to four weeks - usually 60 minutes of deep tissue or therapeutic massage. In a bad deadline month, sooner.

Can you come to my Airbnb or coliving?

Yes. Our therapists travel to hotels and rentals anywhere in Lisbon and set up everything in your room. That service has its own price table - see the hotel massage page.

Are you open on Sundays?

Yes, 11:00 to 21:30. Monday to Saturday it's 9:30 to 21:30. Freelancer weekends are negotiable; we've noticed.

I'm in Lisbon for Web Summit. Can I get a massage?

Yes, and you won't be the first. Every November the city fills with lanyards, and conference damage is its own category: booth-standing feet, handshake shoulders, hotel-pillow neck. That week fills up fast, so book a day or two ahead - or have a therapist come to your hotel when the networking finally stops.

Is there wifi?

Yes. But the entire point of this hour is that nobody can reach you. The wifi will still be there afterwards. So will the messages.

Will a massage fix my posture?

Honestly: no massage fixes a bad chair. What it does is release the muscles the chair keeps wrecking, so you stop compensating and start sitting like a person again. For the rest, buy the laptop stand. You know the one.

Close the laptop

One WhatsApp message and your neck gets an hour with a professional. The notifications will keep. They always do.
